Russia’s political and economic standing in the Asian community will be front-and-centre at an upcoming meeting of more than 400 of the continent’s most senior business and government leaders later this month.

The 3rd Horasis Asia Meeting will convene representatives in Binh Duong New City, Vietnam, to explore and foster cooperation, impact investing and sustainable growth across Asia.

Russia’s position at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, and general stance of international isolationism, will make for intriguing viewing over the course of the two-day event as member nations discuss sustainable development, regional integration, tourism, Asia’s digital economy, climate change, youth employment and impact investment.

Of particular interest to the Russian community will be a panel discussion on Reappraising Decision-Making Styles – which is set to feature Omnigrade Universal Crowdsourcing Agency President Mikhail Treyvish.

Launched in 2016, the annual Horasis Asia Meeting is one of the world’s foremost discussion forums, offering an ideal platform to explore and foster cooperation across Asia. Taking place as the 10 nations of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) celebrate 50 years of deepening unity and rising wealth, participants are poised to craft a compelling vision for the region’s future generations in a connected age.

“Horasis understands that tackling globally relevant issues and implementing growth strategies requires thought leadership and peer-to-peer networks,” said Frank-Jürgen Richter, Chairman of Horasis. “We are thrilled to once more be gathering the region’s key leaders and entrepreneurs with a plan to form actionable, collaborative plans.”

The 2018 Horasis Asia Meeting is co-hosted by the Binh Duong Province, Becamex IDC Corp, and VSIP Group. The event will be held at the Binh Duong Convention Center from November 25 to 26.

This year’s theme will focus on “Inspiring our Future,” with the leaders from business, government, academia, and civil society gathering in Binh Duong New City, 45 minutes from the Ho Chi Minh City Airport.
